Kristen graduated from California State University, Northridge (CSUN), with a Masters of Science (MS) in Communication Disorders with an emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology in 2010. Prior to pursuing her MS degree, Kristen received her Bachelors of Science (BS) in Communication Disorders and Sciences from CSUN.

Kristen earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) in 2011. Following completion of graduate school, she worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Ventura Unified School District. During these years she also worked with other rehabilitative practices throughout Ventura County. Kristen has extensive experience in various areas of the speech, language and hearing disorders/mechanisms including Apraxia, Articulation, Auditory Processing, Augmentative Communication, Cognitive impairments, Cognitive Rehabilitation, Developmental Delays, Fluency, Neurogenic Disorders, and Social/pragmatics. In 2014, Kristen became PROMPT trained, which is a multidimensional approach to speech production disorders that integrates the physical-sensory aspects of motor performance with the cognitive-linguistic and social-emotional aspects.

Kristen enjoys collaborating with parents, family members, and support staff of her clients. Her background in both educational and clinical settings provides a unique perspective when treating both children and adults. This allows implementing strategies for each client to reach their full potential of communication success.
